SHYAM ARJUNRAO TAGADE, IAS (Retired)

Social Work/ Religious Work : He worked as a Lecturer in Yashwantrão Chavan College of Engineering at Nagpūr from 1986 to 1991. He was selected for the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (I.A.S.) in 1991 and has since then served in the Government of Maharashtra by holding various important posts. He has retired as a senior bureaucrat holding the post of Additional Chief Secretary in Home Department, Government of Maharashtra after serving for 32 Years in IAS. During his tenure in IAS, he relentlessly worked for the upliftment of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Workers and all other weaker sections of the society. By deriving inspiration from the Dhammadeeksha of Bodhisatta Dr Bābāsaheb Ambedkar, he is deeply involved in the study, practice and propagation of Buddha Dhamma since 1999. For him, Pali Tipitaka is the only true word of the Buddha. His online Dhamma Discourses in Zoom meetings on Pournima & Amavasaya days are very popular. These Discourses are available on Youtube channel: PMP Dhamma Talks By IAS Shyam Tagade. He is Post-graduate in Pāli Literature. According to him Babasaheb's Mission can be accomplished only through the practice of NOBLE EIGHTFOLD PATH.

Social Work/ Religious Work : Dhamma Preaching. She is actively involved in the activities of Pradnyā Maitri Pratisṭhān since its formation. She has organized many Medical Camps in Urban as well as Rural areas.
PROF. NARENDRA NAMDEO SHENDE

Occupation : Retired as a Principal, Government Engineering College, Yeotmal
Social Work/ Religious Work : Dhamma Preaching & active involvment in various Social movements. He is a Founder Secretary of Pradnyā Maitri Pratisṭhān. He contributed whole heartedly with strong dedication in all the activities of PMP. His efforts in the construction work of Bodhisattva Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Dhamma Academy is laudable.

Occupation : Retired as Deputy Director in Agricultural Department of Government of Maharashtra.
